A former member of navy seal team six Mathew Bissonnette says he's turning over all the money he got from his book about the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden.
The money is going to the government. Bissonnette published his best seller "no easy day: the firsthand of the mission that killed Osama Bin Laden" in 2012 under the pen name Mark Owen.
He says he was the one who killed bin laden.The Department of Justice brought a civil action against him for "breach of contract," saying he failed to submit the draft to the pentagon for a review of classified information.
Media reports put the settlement at around $7 million.
