Tri-State Landmark Destroyed By Fire

The owner of a local landmark is in critical conditon with third degree burns and today doctors will look at whether skin grafts are an option for him.

Fire officials say it was a grease fire that swept through the kitchen at Sorrento's sports and pizza bar Friday night.

The owner Enrico Deluca, 82, was badly burned when his clothes caught fire.

His son Willie was burned on the hands when he tried to help his father. Willie says Sorrento's will re-open in time to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The family will meet with Norwood fire officials to get help putting together a plan to re-open.
