CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A female pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck and critically hurt at a Downtown intersection Friday morning.
Michele Barrett, 51, was in a crosswalk with the right-of-way when a Toyota Tundra driven by 37-year-old Jason Turner struck her just before 7:30 a.m., police said.
She was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and listed in serious but stable condition.
When officers initially responded, they reported the pedestrian was conscious but unable to talk with a possible broken leg.
Impairment and excessive speed are not factors in this crash.
The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.
