College soccer team pays tribute to Harambe

Just when you thought you'd heard every Harambe tribute, here comes another one.

Wednesday night the UMass Lowell men's soccer team is hosting a Harambe Night. Fans wearing gorilla suits have a chance to win unnamed prizes, and the first 100 through the door get a mini stuffed Harambe.

The theme was promoted on the UMass Athletic's twitter page.

It has been a huge hit on social media, being retweeted more than 700 times in just a couple of hours.

The response has been mixed.  One person on Twitter wrote, "I've never been prouder of my Alma Matter".  Another commented, "This used to be funny and not it is just old."
