Macy’s plans to hire 83,000 workers this year nationwide, an increase of 3,000 over 2015.
The retailer is hosting it’s first “National Hiring Day" next week.
Visit any Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s store on between 2-8 p.m. on Sept. 30 to apply in person.
"This significant increase in staffing allows us to provide addition service to customers, however they engage with us," said Terry J. Lundgren, Macy's,Inc. Chairman and CEO.
