CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Bengals fans didn't let a few thousand miles keep them away from Sunday's home opener game against the Denver Broncos.
Some fans traveled from as far as Ireland and California to support the boys in orange and black.
Though the Bengals lost to the Broncos, fans still proudly display their Bengals pride.
"Pretty frustrating with the offense this year. Defense had to step up a lot. A new offensive coordinator, losing a number two and number three receiver, [we] had our work cut out but just didn't seem to get things going today," said Bengals fan Jason Brooke.
Some fans said they are waiting on the return of players Tyler Eifert and Vontaze Burfict.
"We need Burfict. We need him back for sure," said Bengals fan Brittney Reeve.
Despite the teams second loss this season, fans are very much optimistic.
"We have some parts that aren't with us right now and we have some other parts we're trying to figure out how they fit into the machine," said Bengals fan Matthew Hemmer. "So I really think that we wait another week or two everything is going to come together it's going to gel."
"Cincinnati pride baby, you know 'Who Dey' were going to make this," said Matt Sexton.
