Illinois police have reportedly taken clothing worn by members of the family of a child found stabbed to death with her best friend near a bike path.
Today's Chicago Tribune quotes the mother of Laura Hobbs as saying Zion authorities took the clothing on Sunday, the same day Hobbs and Krystal Tobias vanished. The mother also told the newspaper that a relative was interviewed last night and released.
The bodies of the elementary school girls were found at dawn yesterday. Police say there were no weapons at the scene and no evidence of sexual assault. Zion is on the edge of both the Chicago and Milwaukee metropolitan areas.
