FOX19 has learned that Reds utility player Ryan Freel has plead guilty to one count of drunk driving charges Tuesday afternoon.
Freel was ordered to pay $661.50 in fines and court costs, and his license has been suspended in Kentucky for 90 days. In addition he will serve 60 days of probation.
It was previously reported that Freel was to make a statement Tuesday evening at Great American Ball Park however FOX19 has learned that will not be happening.
Freel was arrested for DUI just hours after the Reds big opening day win against the Mets. He was pulled over in Bellevue, Kentucky and was arrested after police said he failed several field sobriety tests.
