CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A crash involving a semi tractor-trailer is slowing the morning commute in downtown Cincinnati Tuesday.
All lanes are open now on southbound Interstate 71/75 between the Brent Spence Bridge and 5th Street exit in Covington, but traffic was restricted earlier this morning.
A semi hit a wall in the middle of the bridge about 7:15 a.m., Cincinnati police dispatchers said.
No injuries were immediately reported, but the massive vehicle blocked the right lane.
The crash is still impacting motorists headed to the bridge along southbound I-75 from I-74 and ones on westbound Fort Washington Way.
Delays on southbound I-75 approaching the bridge are up to nearly one hour.
Detour around by taking southbound Interstate 71 through downtown Cincinnati to I-471 across the Big Mac Bridge.
Once you are into Northern Kentucky, continue south on I-471 and then veer west on I-275 to return to southbound I-71.
