A lockdown was lifted for all Lawrenceburg schools by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The schools were on brief lockdown with police from several agencies at the buildings as a precaution, Dearborn County dispatchers said.
All students are safe, they said.
The incident that prompted the lockdown was not due to a threat against the school, they said.
It was issued over an incident outside the school. .
