CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Lunch is now served at Cincinnati restauranteur Jean-Robert de Cavel's restaurant in the Great American Tower.
Restaurant L, Jean-Robert de Cavel and Richard Brown's new restaurant concept, has created a la carte lunch menu featuring seasonally inspired French cuisine served from Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The menu offers soups, petite plaques (appetizers), salads, tartines (sandwiches), les plats (main courses), and desserts.
For those wishing to nosh lightly, a roasted beet salad with lemon honey crème fraiche, hazelnut, arugula and red onion dressing is served at $15, respectively. Moving onto the main courses, a filet of turbo is served with scallop mousse, spinach and lobster sauce, offered at $26. A sommelier is always at hand to pair a fine glass of wine from the extensive list curated to include a full spectrum from old world to new world selections from Germany, Spain and even Pacific Northwest wines. Restaurant L opened for dinner on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Cincinnati's newest contemporary landmark, the Great American Tower at Queen City Square. Brown and de Cavel worked together previously at Cincinnati's revered Maisonette, which was awarded an astounding 41 consecutive five-stars from the Mobil Travel Guide, and then at Jean-Robert at Pigall's, awarded five consecutive four-stars.
Spanning a gracious 8,000 square feet, Restaurant L features a main dining room that accommodates 60 guests. The restaurant also boasts two private dining rooms that collectively seat 40 and a full-service bar, which can seat 30 for a la carte diners. Set on the corner of 4th and Broadway, the restaurant overlooks the fast-paced city streets below through large picturesque glass windows.
Restaurant L is open Monday-Friday for lunch, served from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
