(FORD/CNN) - - (FORD/CNN) - The best-selling vehicle in North America is being investigated for brake problems.
About 282,000 Ford F-150 pick-up trucks are involved.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said complaints include "a sudden and complete loss of brakes."
Vehicles affected are the 2015 and 2016 F-150 models with 3.5-liter engines.
No injuries or accidents have been reported.
Regulators are already looking at two other Ford vehicles in separate investigations.
These include the Edge SUV and Fusion sedans.
