CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - In Tom Brady's first home game of the season, the Patriots used a big second half to deal the Bengals their fourth loss in five games with a 35-17 win.
The Bengals (2-4) took a 14-10 lead early in the second half when Andy Dalton threw a 5-yard strike to former Patriots WR Brandon LaFell for his third touchdown of the season, which leads the team among receivers.
The Patriots (5-1) answered with 15 unanswered points in the quarter, including sacking Andy Dalton in the endzone for a safety and a pair of Brady touchdown passes to Rob Gronkowski and James White.
Gronkowski had a career-high 162 yards receiving against the Bengals to go with his touchdown. Brady completed for 29 of 35 passes for 376 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Andy Dalton completed 21 of 31 passes for 254 yards, one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown. AJ Green had 6 receptions for 88 yards. Tyler Boyd had his best game of the season with 4 catches for 79 yards.
New England improves to 49-1 at home against AFC teams with Brady at quarterback since 2007. The Bengals return home next week to face the Cleveland Browns at 1 p.m.
