Cincinnati fabric store closing after 75 years

A local fabric and furniture store in closing its doors after 75 years in business. 

An online auction cite is liquidating more than $500,000 worth of inventory from Mill End Draperies.

In its long history, the store supplied vintage and collectible fabrics to local theatrical productions as well as major movies including Eight Men Out, Little Man Tate, Rain Man, Seabiscuit, Carole, The Blunderer and many more

Vintage fabrics from Mill End at 26 W 7th Street in Cincinnati were used in building the Arc Encounter exhibits adding an element of authenticity to the exhibits.
