Recipe: Milk Braised Pork Meatballs

FOX19 - For the Meatballs

  • 1# ground pork
  • 2.5c breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2c ricotta
  • 1ea garlic clove, microplaned
  • 2tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2tbsp onion, grated
  • 1tsp fennel seed, ground
  • TT kosher salt & black pepper

Mix all ingredients together besides the ground pork. Then gently  fold in ground pork to the mixed ingredients. Scoop with a 2oz ice cream scoop.

Reserve in refrigerator

To Milk Braise

  • 1ea recipe of pork meatballs
  • 1c dry white wine
  • 2c chicken stock
  • 2c whole milk

Brown meatballs in a skillet. Place meatballs into a dutch oven. Pour the liquids over top. Bring to a simmer on stovetop. Then braise in the oven at 300*F for about an hour or until meatballs are cooked thru. Strain liquid.
