Investigators receive a tip about possible sighting of missing children

Authorities searching for two missing children in Idaho are now on the lookout for a light-colored van. Police say they are trying to determine the credibility of a tip from a shopkeeper, who says he may have spotted the brother and sister in the vehicle.

One officer tells CNN they're focusing their search on northern Idaho, western Montana and an area of southern Canada. He says "Every law enforcement agency, and quite frankly a lot of the public, are looking for that van." The children were discovered to be missing Monday, when the bodies of their mother and brother along with a third person were found at their home.

Today, the father of the nine-year-old boy and the eight-year-old girl told CNN that, "If they can see me or hear me, I want them to know I love them."
