MILLBURY, OH (FOX19) -

Ohio troopers discovered drugs disguised as holiday gifts during a traffic stop this week.

A California man is now facing felony drug charges after the traffic stop in Millbury on Monday.

Troopers stopped a rented 2016 Ford Expedition for following too closely on Interstate 80.

A probably cause searched revealed 10 gift wrapped boxes containing approximately 71 pounds of marijuana, 360 THC pills and a pound of hash wax oil.

The drugs are worth an estimated $330,000, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The driver, Daniel A. Yates, 31, was taken to the Wood County Jail and charged with possession and trafficking in drugs.

If convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison and up to a $30,000 fine.
