Rain-snow mix still in play for Sunday

With the Bengals back in town, we know many are planning on being out and about during the day Sunday. Unfortunately, the weather will not be ideal.
We anticipate cloudy skies throughout the day. While the early morning hours will start out dry, precipitation will begin to move in during the late morning, peak during the afternoon, and end during the early evening. We expect this to be in the form of scattered showers, which means precipitation will not be continuous during this entire period and a few may miss out.
What kind of precipitation though? That’s a tricky question! Right now it appears that it will be mainly rain showers for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. A few snowflakes can’t be ruled out at the Bengals game downtown, but right now it appears the better chance of the rain/snow mix will stay just to the north.

Even if the snow falls, temperatures will be above freezing, so no accumulation is expected. Temperatures will peak in the low 40s in Cincy with slightly warmer temps farther south and slightly cooler temps north. The good news is that winds will be light, so wind chills will not be a factor.
We’ll continue to keep you posted on this forecast.
