The fate of the man accused of killing Elder High School student Maurice Kennedy is now in the hands of the jury.
Attorneys in the Bernard Reid murder trial gave their closing arguments Wednesday.
Defense attorney Scott Rubenstein told the jurors there is no fingerprint or DNA evidence linking Reid to the murder. The defense team says someone else pulled the trigger.
Prosecutor Seth Tieger says no witnesses said that other person was the shooter. Tieger told jurors that the evidence they do have, points to Reid.
Maurice Kennedy was shot to death last September. If the jury finds Reid guilty he could get life in prison.
