Ministries' hunger food drive distribution begins

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) -

Matthew 25: Ministries, a top-ranked international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization is continuing their fight against local hunger this year.

Today through Thursday, they will distribute 130,000 pounds of food to more than 40 food pantries and shelters in Greater Cincinnati.

Since 2005, the Hunger Food Drive has raised almost 750,000 pounds of food for Greater Cincinnati’s poor. Matthew 25 is celebrating 25 years of service in 2016, and support for their community of Greater Cincinnati is an important part of their work. 

In 2015, more than 500,000 pounds of humanitarian aid were distributed in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Matthew 25: Ministries accepts cash, credit card and internet donations for ongoing disaster aid and humanitarian relief programs. 

More than 99% of Matthew 25: Ministries’ cash and in-kind donations go toward programs.

    According to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble, a person was being held Sunday in the Randolph County jail after being taken into custody by Arkansas State Police in connection with the deaths of two people.
