Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby will be buying steak dinners for graduates of seven area colleges for the next four years.
Ruby announced that every student who graduates from University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University and University of Kentucky in the next four years can come to any of his restaurants in the next four years to receive a complimentary steak dinner as a graduation present.
The offer is also extended to University of Dayton, University of Louisville and Vanderbilt University.
“These 7 universities produce terrific young adults.” Ruby said in a release. “With graduation on the horizon and with each school’s NCAA Tournament participation, we thought this would be a great way to recognize both the athletic as well as academic achievement of the talented young leaders from all of these great schools.”
The offer is available at Ruby's four steakhouses near the schools he's honoring.
Specific details of the deal have yet to be announced, but will be released in the coming weeks on the company's website.

Ruby gained national media attention when he promised to buy steak dinners for all 15,000 NKU students if the 15-seeded Norse won their first ever NCAA tournament game against 2-seeded UK. UK beat NKU 79-70.
Despite losing, Ruby announced that a steak will be named after the team.
"NKU Norse" will be a steak on the menu at The Precinct, his restaurant in Columbia Tusculum on Delta Avenue.
It will be a 14-ounce New York Strip will be blackened and served with horseradish cream sauce.
