CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

An image of a too-good-to-be-true collaboration between Graeter’s Ice Cream and Oreo started circulating online this week.

The photo shows a package of Limited Edition Oreos filled with Graeter’s signature Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream-flavored filling. Unfortunately, this mouth-watering collab is a photoshop job.

Oreo has been known to offer a variety of odd concoctions like Swedish Fish, Banana Split and Candy Corn, so the Black Raspberry Chip Oreo doesn’t seem like a far-off idea.

Thankfully, the folks at Graeter’s got word of the phony image and offered up this solution to making your own Black Raspberry Chip Oreos at home.

What you’ll need:

8 ounces Graeter’s Black Raspberry Syrup (Can be purchased at Graeter’s stores.)

8 ounces white chocolate

2 cups cream

Package of Oreos

Directions:

Heat the black raspberry syrup and combine with the white chocolate until melted.

Whip the cream and to the syrup/chocolate mixture until it becomes a mousse-like consistency.

Replace the traditional Oreo filling with your Chocolate-black raspberry mousse.
