Spectacular fire destroys Detroit warehouse
Firefighters in Detroit have managed to get a massive warehouse fire mostly under control. But not before it destroyed the sprawling, century-old warehouse.
About 150 firefighters battled the blaze, which broke out late last night. The four-story warehouse was partially vacant, but it did contain a meat market and other businesses. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The city's fire commissioner says two firefighters were treated for minor injuries. The spectacular fire drew hundreds of onlookers, with police called in to keep the crowd under control.
