Weight Loss: Integrative Health Coaching

For sustainable weight loss a new approach examines why it may not be enough to say I want to lose 20, 50, or 100 pounds, but rather discovering why you want to lose those pounds.

Nourish Weight Loss Workshop on April 30 at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center in Montgomery is an opportunity for people struggling with weight and/or weight related illness to get to the root cause of the issue, through Integrative Health Coaching.

The program’s creator, Lindsay Armor says taking a whole person or integrative approach guides participants through supportive activities that will lead them to a new awareness of their body, stress triggers, and relationship with food and exercise.

The idea that there's "no pain, no gain" has no room in Integrative Health Coaching which stresses self-care to helping individuals lose the weight and keep it off. According to Lindsey Armor "Nourish programs go beyond diet and exercise and focus on the whole person, by exploring how all areas of our lives such as career, relationships, home environment, etc. may be contributing to or prohibiting us from reaching our well-ness goals." Armor says, imagine removing the stress of diet and exercise alone and incorporating, a gentler plan of self-awareness to achieve the health and lifestyle you want and need.

Current Nourish clients will be on hand to share their success stories and participants will walk away with renewed motivation and clear intention to help support their wellness goals with a customized action plan. Tickets are $25.00 a person or free if currently enrolled in a Nourish Program. If you have been sweating, starving and straining with no results come see what's really holding you back from succeeding in your health goals. You have everything to lose.
