LOCKLAND, OH (FOX19) -

A Lockland man faces a Hamilton County judge Tuesday on a rape charge.

Christopher Paul Tate, 37, is held without bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

According to court records, Tate is accused of entering the bathroom of his Mill Street home and forcing the victim to have sexual intercourse with him against her will on the evening of April 12.

The woman told police he slammed her head against the bathroom mirror before sexually assaulting her, an affidavit states.

She was immediately taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for a rape examination, police said.
