HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Some Hamilton roads will temporarily close this week to allow production crews to film the new Robert Redford movie.

The portion of High Street between Second Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (State Highway 127) will be closed from 5 a.m. on Thursday, April 27 until 9 p.m. on Friday, April 28, according to a tweet form Hamilton Police. Additionally, the intersection of High Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be subject to brief, intermittent closures to prevent vehicles from appearing in the background of various scenes of the movie.

The Redford film "The Old Man and the Gun" began production earlier this month in Bethel.

The film depicts an elderly bank robber who escaped from prison over a dozen times before moving to a retirement community, where he decides to spice things up with another heist, according to IMDb.

Academy Award winning-actor Casey Affleck and Danny Glover are starring in the movie with Redford and Sissy Spacek, who won Best Actress for 1980's "Coal Miner's Daughter."

It's not clear yet when the film will open on the big screen.

This is said to be one of Redford's final films before retiring.
