TAYLOR MILL, KY (FOX19) -

Taylor Mill Police arrested a Scott High School student accused in a string of Snapchat threats against the school this week.

The underage student confessed after police served a search warrant late Wednesday night, according to Police Chief Steve Knauf.

The threats were posted by an anonymous user on the Snapchat app.  The messages referenced shootings, bombings and kidnappings. The boy used the name ‘Scottboyexposed’  and also sent inappropriate photos to his classmates, students said.

Police are not identifying the suspect because he is underage. He is charged with several counts of terroristic threatening.

Extra police patrols have been at the school since the first series of threats were posted Monday night.
