HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton drivers will be forced to take a few detours if they are traveling in the downtown area the next two days.

Film crews for the new Robert Redford movie being shot around the Tri-State started closing roads at 5 a.m. Thursday.

High Street from North 2nd Street to North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be closed intermittently through 9 p.m. Friday.

City officials say the movie will be shooting a pivotal scene. This is the seventh film to shoot in Hamilton in the past three years.

"The Old Man and the Gun," stars Redford, Casey Affleck. Sissy Spacek and Danny Glover.

According to www.imdb.com, the film is about an elderly bank robber who moves to a retirement community and decides to spice things up with one last heist.

Shooting around the area began earlier this month in Clermont County's Bethel.

On Monday, filming was spotted outside the old Cincinnati District 3 headquarters on Warsaw Avenue in East Price Hill.

Movie crews are heading to Northern Kentucky next month.

FOX19 Now has confirmed filming will take place in Newport sometime in May.
