A creek that runs through Gower Park in Sharonville, looked more like a raging river after rain storms passed through. The rain fall cause some flooding, leaving people with damaged
basements.

"Heavy rain, thunder and lightning; so much water came down the hill. So much water, it came down the hill so much water,” said Sharonville resident Delfino Desouza.

His belongings in the basement were ruined. He says the water rose so high in his neighborhood that it split his back door into two.

"The water was coming, so we could not go and stand in the water, because it was so much force like a current moving,” said Desouza.

Desouza says he has plans to have the damage belongings put into a dumpster on Monday. The hope for residents is that more rain doesn't do further damage.
