Wisconsin mom gives birth to baby girl weighing nearly 14 pounds
Even arriving three-weeks early, a Wisconsin baby born last week weighed in at 13 pounds, 12 ounces. Her parents have dubbed Delaney Jessica Buzzell the "Big Enchilada."
She headed home today after being delivered by Caesarean section on June 23rd. A nurse says Delaney's diaper and shirt were a little snug and that she had "quite an appetite" and was "ready for a steak." Paul and Robin Buzzell, who live in suburban Milwaukee, have two other children who were born weighing about eleven pounds each.
Their latest weighs nearly twice the average newborn. And according to the National Center for Health Statistics, less than one percent of babies weigh more than eleven pounds at birth.
