Man accused of reckless driving on shopping cart
A North Dakota man faces disorderly conduct charges after police say he drove a shopping cart drunk around a grocery store.
Police say Clifford Mattson came into the grocery store on a skateboard yesterday. Police say he was in the store for about an hour before he got onto an electric shopping cart and began recklessly driving it around the store, nearly knocking down several customers before he was arrested. A detective says Mattson at times appeared to be driving after people in the aisles.
Mattson could see 30 days in jail for the joy ride, along with a 500-dollar fine.
