Shark attack victim's parents grateful; son recovering
The parents of a 16-year-old boy who lost his leg after a shark attack in Florida are thankful for the doctor and other medical people who helped their son on the beach.
Roger and Lou Ann Hutto say Craig would have died if not for the quick action of the five, who happened to be on the same beach when Craig was attacked while fishing Monday. The rescuers helped stem the blood flow until paramedics arrived. He's now in stable condition at a hospital. The boy's father tells CNN his son has a pretty vivid memory of what happened but has shown courage in accepting everything so far.
Craig's older brother Brian, who helped fight off the shark, says he didn't really think about the danger at the time. He tells CNN he was simply trying doing his "job" helping his younger brother.
For decades, he was known only as Unknown X-9352 at a World War II American cemetery in Belgium where he was interred.Full Story >
