Boy Found Dead In Car

Toddler found dead in car in southwest Ohio

A four-year-old boy has been found dead inside of a car in southwest Ohio's Batavia. Andy Jones' father found him inside of a Honda Accord last night around Five p.m. The car's doors and windows were closed.

Clermont County Sheriff AJ Rodenburg says says the death appears to have been accidental, and authorities say they are investigating it as a case of heat exposure. Rodeburg says investigators believe the boy wandered into the car.

Temperatures inside a car in the summer time can reach 120 degrees. The high in Batavia was 89 degrees yesterday. An autopsy is pending.
