Woman leads police on 130 mph chase near Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Katelin Jenkins has taken her foot off the gas while she sits in a Butler County Jail cell.

Police say the 22-year-old led them on a chase with speeds exceeding 130 miles per hour.
The incident started Saturday around 9 p.m. when Christina Hogan went inside the Middletown Food Mart off Central Avenue for a soda.

Jenkins says she thought she turned her car off, but surveillance video shows her pop out of a car, jump into Hogan's Camaro and take off.
"I just couldn't believe it," Hogan said.  "You see this stuff on the news but never would I have thought it would happen to me."
Jenkins headed east on State Route 63 into Monroe.

With the help of Onstar, a piece of GPS software, officers were able to track the vehicle, but not before she traveled at excessive speeds, according to police.
Her vehicle ended up hitting a police cruiser.

She was arrested and charged her with receiving stolen property, failure to comply with an order of police officer and possession of drug instruments.
Two other suspects with Jenkins in another car have not been identified.
