CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

Florence Ferguson was 9-years-old when the first Cincinnati chili parlor opened. She’s lived through two World Wars and two different Cincinnati streetcar systems.

And on Thursday she celebrated her 104th birthday.

Florence grew up in Madisonville, where she lived the majority of her life. She has been a resident at Silverton Pointe Nursing Facility for the past 15 years.

She celebrated her 104th birthday party with her friends, family and staff at the nursing home.

“If I could order a mother, she would have fitted all the boxes on the form,” said Florence’s son, Gerald.

Florence is a mother to three and a great-grandmother to 10 children.
