Police: Middletown woman revived after overdosing at edge of train tracks

(FOX19 NOW) (FOX19 NOW)
MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

A Middletown woman was revived with 12 doses of Narcan after overdosing near train tracks Wednesday.

Authorities responded the railroad tracks south of the University Boulevard/14th Avenue overpass after a passing train saw a body laying on the side of the tracks, a police report states.

Police were able to locate Victoria Duvall, who was unconscious due to a heroin overdose.

Duvall was given 12 doses of Narcan, at which time she responded and was transported to Atrium Medical Center.

No drugs or syringes were found near Duvall, police said.

Duvall was issued a criminal summons for disorderly conduct.  She will be in court on July 5.

This is the second overdose around Middletown train tracks in the past week. Police say a 46-year-old man was lucky to survive falling unconscious between a set of tracks. 29 rail cars managed to pass over without hitting the man.
