Postal Worker Sentenced

Lloyd Robinson, the 57-year-old postal service worker who was convicted of vehicular homicide in June, was sentenced today in a Kenton County courtroom to two years in a state penitentiary.

Robinson led police on a high-speed chase on May 19, 2003 that ended in a crash that claimed the life of Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Officer Doug Bryant.

A plea from Dean Pisacano, Robinson's attorney, cited his military service, 20 years as a postal worker and previously spotless record as evidence for leniency, but Robinson was still handed the jury's recommendation of two years.
