CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A 26-year-old homeless man is accused of robbing hikers in Ault Park.

Jacob Weiss, who has "no home," according to Hamilton County court paperwork, is held on a $500,000 bond at the Hamilton County jail.

Weiss faced a judge Monday morning on three counts of aggravated robbery and two additional counts of robbery. He also has an outstanding felony warrant for a probation violation.

Weiss was arrested Sunday after he admitted to pointing "a black handgun" at five victims while demanding their property at the park earlier that day, on Saturday and back on June 30, Cincinnati police wrote in criminal complaints.

After each offense, Weiss ran off. When officers took Weiss into custody, he was found with an airsoft handgun he said he just used on two victims, records show.

Airsoft guns resemble real ones and fire pellets, not real bullets.

The victims turned over hundreds of dollars in cash, cellphones, car keys and Ray Ban sunglasses, according to the criminal complaints.

Those same victims later identified Weiss as the suspect in a police photo lineup, records state.
