Zack Cozart will bat ninth for the National League team in Tuesday’s All-Star Game on FOX19 NOW.
National League manager Joe Maddon revealed his line-up today at a press conference in Miami. Cozart won the All-Star fan vote and will start his first mid-summer classic at shortstop.
“I think he’s one of the best offensive shortstops in all of baseball,” said Maddon of Cozart. “So, to put him in the nine hole is awkward, but nevertheless great.”
There will be a designated hitter in the All-Star Game, part of the reason Cozart is slated to hit ninth.
