Funeral services set for local pastor killed in crash

CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

Funeral services have been set for the pastor killed in a single-vehicle crash in Wyoming over the weekend.

Visitation for Rev. Chris Coleman, 50, will be Thursday, July 13, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains in downtown Cincinnati. 

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m at the Cathedral.

Coleman will be laid to rest in a private burial in London, OH.

Coleman was the pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Greenhills, St. Matthias in Forest Park and St.James of the Valley in Wyoming.

He officially was the pastor of the Winton Wyoming Pastoral Region, a role he took in 2014, according to that organization's website.

He became the director of music for St. Simon the Apostle Parish in Delhi Township in 1992. He was active there until he was ordained a priest in 2006.

Coleman served as parochial vicar at Good Shepherd Parish in Montgomery and was the pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Dayton.
