A 13-year-old Springdale girl who was missing for five days was found safe.

Reina Marroquin is safe back in her mother's home after she said she was snatched by a neighbor on Thursday.

"Someone took me out here. A man told me to come outside," said Marroquin.

She said Luis Thomas Ramirez knocked on her door telling her to come outside. When she came outside, that's when she said he took her away. She said she was afraid and doesn't know where she was taken.

Springdale police said Ramirez came back to the home on Sunday, not with Marroquin, but with her clothes and reportedly told her mother that if she ever wanted to see her daughter again she would have to pay up.

Police said that Ramirez admitted to taking Marroquin out for a drink after she was reported missing, but he told police that he dropped her off at home after.

Ramirez lives in the same apartment complex, but Marroquin said she never met him before he took her.

She was found on Tuesday.

The family would only say she was found in the streets. They would not say if Ramirez hurt her.

Her cousin, Irma Mendez spoke to FOX19 NOW as she was checking in on the family.

"I'm really sorry for her you know. I don't know what happened. I don't know yet what happened to her. My heart hurt because you see people like that doing bad stuff to your daughter to your family," she said.

Ramirez remains behind bars on several charges including extortion.

The family said they hope he stays there.

"He need to go to jail for the rest of his life," said Mendez.

Police are still not releasing any details about where Mannequin was found, but the investigation is still ongoing.

Ramirez is being held on a $45,000 bond for the three charges.

He is expected to be in court on Tuesday morning.
