Crews worked to repair a water main break along Clough Pike in Batavia on Saturday.
Officials said the break happened around 6 p.m. in the 1700 block.
Many people in the area captured photos of the water bursting up into the air.
"I just kind of came home to this. It's been going for about three hours now. So we're just waiting for them to dig a hole, shut it off maybe," neighbor Alec Jacobs said.
At this time there is no word on the cause of the break.
By Sunday morning, the break was no longer impacting residents, according to a message from Clermont County Water Administration.
