The latest food-born illness outbreak involves customers who reported symptoms consistent consistent with norovirus after eating at a Chipotle in Sterling, VA. The chain closed that restaurant to investigate, and says it’s cooperating with investigators.
This comes just a few years after outbreaks of similar illnesses at Chipotle restaurants across the country.
One place reports of those illnesses first surfaced a website called IWasPoisoned.com.
The site collects and screens reports of diners’ food poisoning, and shares it with public health departments.
It’s also a site you can search before your next meal out.
