Newly released bodycam video from the Mt. Healthy Police Department shows two officer chasing down a man who allegedly just robbed a home on Lakenoll Drive.

On Monday, police were called to the 1600 block of Lakenoll Drive for a burglary in progress.

Video shows officers walking around the side of the home only to discover 42-year-old Vashaw Gulley had started running from officers and hopped a fence in the backyard.

Police chased down and arrested Gulley, who now faces charges for burglary, obstructing official business and possession of criminal tools.

According to the police report an 11-year-old girl was home at the time of the burglary. Neighbors said the man started by knocking on the front door and the girl did not answer after seeing the man was a stranger.

According to the report, Gulley started throwing rocks at both the front and back windows and would eventually gain entry into the home. Neighbors said once the rocks started flying the young girl locked herself inside a room in the home and started dialing out for help.

Police confirmed the girl was not harmed during the burglary.

While being chased, Gulley dropped a bag full of stolen goods on the ground which led police to discover the man had broken into more than one home on Monday.

According to the police reports, Gulley stole almost $3,000 worth of phones, gaming devices and jewelry from two homes before encountering police.
