Tri-State girls basketball coach charged with sex crime

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A girls basketball coach from Cincinnati is accused of sexual imposition with a teenager.

Keith Gwynn, 36, tried to remove a 15-year-old girl's bra and pants, according to an affidavit filed in Hamilton County. Gwynn is a staff member for Team Championship Behavior, according to the program's web site. It is described as a non-profit exposure and skills development basketball program.

Court documents show Gwynn and the teen were "hanging out" at Gwynn's residence in December 2016. The incident happened when the pair agreed to take a nap together, fully clothed, documents show.

They started kissing and that is when the inappropriate touching took place, police wrote in the affidavit.

The victim stopped Gwynn from removing her pants, "ultimately leading to the defendant leaving the bedroom," documents state. He then drove the teen to her friend's house.

Gwynn was charged with sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor, in May.
