Priest indicted on rape charges
A Roman Catholic priest already convicted of soliciting sex from an undercover police officer has been indicted on charges he raped a boy while he was a church pastor in the 1990s.
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has placed the Reverend Raymond Larger on administrative leave following yesterday's indictment by a Hamilton County grand jury.
Prosecutors say the alleged victim came forward earlier this year. Larger denies the allegations, saying his conscience is clear and clean. Larger pleaded no contest in 2003 to misdemeanor charges of public indecency and soliciting sex from a male undercover officer in a Dayton park.
