EAST PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

An 18-year-old man is dead in what Cincinnati police say appears to be an accidental shooting inside an East Price Hill home overnight.

The teen was pronounced dead inside the residence in the 900 block of McPherson Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Monday, said Homicide Sgt. Mike Miller.

It appears the teen accidentally shot himself with a handgun, Miller said.

No arrests were made, and the incident is not being treated as a crime as police conduct a death investigation.

“We are not treating it as a homicide,” Miller said, declining to release further details about the incident.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office also is investigating.
