A man was shot and critically hurt while driving on a busy roadway in downtown Cincinnati during evening rush hour Tuesday.

The shooting shut down the Sixth Street ramp to southbound Interstate 75 near the Brent Spence Bridge about 5:30 p.m.

A bullet shot through the window and hit the driver, according to Cincinnati police spokesman Sgt. Eric Franz.

They do not know where the gunfire started or how many shots were fired, said Sgt. Eric Franz.
