CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police rescued a disabled woman from the Ohio River after her wheelchair rolled down a boat ramp into the water.
Officers Rebecca Napier, Christine Barry, Andre Miller and Tammy Hussels and Sgts. Salvatore Tufano and David Colette were recognized for their heroic actions on the Cincinnati Police Department's Facebook page Wednesday.
Police officials also released video from an officer's body camera showing the rescue,which occurred on Saturday.
"One of the neatest things I've ever see police do on video," said the police union president, Sgt. Dan Hils.
"This is the definition of public service."
