DEARBORN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -

The victims of Friday's fatal double shooting in Dearborn County have been identified, according to police.

Shortly after 7 p.m., police found 30-year-old Brittany Black, shot in the yard of her home in the 9300 block of State Route 48.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Dearborn County Coroner’s Office.

Her husband, 37-year-old Kyle Black, was also shot outside of the residence.

He was transported to a Cincinnati hospital where he remains in critical condition.

A neighbor, Terry Storey, 55, was arrested and is held on charges of murder and attempted murder at the Dearborn County jail, according to Indiana State Police.

He faces additional charges of resisting law enforcement and battery on a law enforcement officer when he "forcibly resisted arrest and battered" a Dearborn County deputy, said Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, state police spokesman.

Police said their investigation led them early Saturday to Storey.

He was taken into custody at his residence in the 9400 block of State Route 48, which is just west of the shooting scene.

Police have not said what led up to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
